Since it appears Google Phone is coming, I would like to describe it.
The design of iPhone is great but Google should never try to enter the market at $500.00/phone. $150 USD (at most) phone with Maps, Gmail, Youtube and Docs on top.
In any poll, 9 of 10 people expresses the desire to change carriers because the service doesn’t work. The solution is not going to be only in the phone they can invent, it is all about the connections. Gphone may use a mix of “Skype” (VOIP) technology and GSM where does not exist WiFi, exactly like “roaming.” Imagine the savings in every call! Also Google could give us an option to have ads or not; with ads, the cost of the plan could be less expensive.
On any given day or person what matters at the end of the day is the money in our pocket. Google (if they want to keep the “cool” emblem they are destroying with so much enthusiasm) has to think about the coverage and the cost of the call.
The applications on the OS of the phone is nice to have, but cost and quality of the calls are what Google must consider.

Mario,
You maybe right, although I do not see happening. The only thing is coming is the phone itself.

If they can design so that it can switch functionality, between cellphone and Wi-Fi, the transition and acquisition of market share will be rather smooth. Nonetheless, I think they’d let Microsoft (Zune phone) make the first move.

Hey Chalie: This is a wish list.
Daniel: We are waiting for the new technologies to arrive. After all competence benefits everyone.
